Lenten orange cake
Offer a simple and quick recipe Lenten cake, which I recently came across in a magazine. Perfect for lent, but for those who are on a diet - in one serving 118 calories and 2 grams of fat. Try and rate!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Orange juice

    0.75 cup

  • Brown sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Sunflower oil

    0.25 cup

  • Orange zest

    1 Tbsp

  • Corn starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Salt

From orange squeeze juice. I have this amount of juice is 2 oranges.

Sift together the flour, starch, baking powder (I have with saffron). Add salt.

Combine the sugar with the butter and give everything a good whisk until smooth.

Add juice and zest and carefully mix everything.

Add the dry mixture and lightly whisk together.

Pour into shape and put in a preheated 180 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
