Description
Once this pie from Nick Malgieri made a big splash. Several years passed and I too got to him))) On a sand-based juicy plums and all this under the tender crumb. Decided to put up this recipe because opinions were divided - the cake was liked by all, but someone was in the uttermost delight, I cake just like it. Try?

Cooking
Plum wash, separate the two halves and remove pits. I took frozen cherries - it is not necessary to defrost.
Beat the butter until light in colour and gradually add the sugar (icing sugar), whisking for 3-4 minutes.
Still whisking, add the egg.
Next, one egg yolk, whisking after each addition. Add the zest and vanilla. The flour and baking powder to sift, to introduce into the butter-egg mixture. Mix well.
Split mold at 23-25 cm primality and spread the parchment. Spread the batter into the pan and flatten.
Spread on the dough press is NOT necessary, cut up and close to each other plum in the middle of every plum I put a cherry.
For crumbs mix all ingredients and sprinkle on the toppings evenly.
Put in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake until tender 50-60 minutes - it took me 1 hour. Allow to cool and remove from the mold.
