Shortcrust pie with cottage cheese and Apple filling
A delicious pie made of tender dough with a cottage cheese-Apple filling. Recipe from Oli Warunek, for which many thanks to her. Baked the first time, but I will repeat it.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Sugar

    9 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Salt

    0.17 tsp

  • Cheese

    250 g

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Powdered sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

To combine the sifted flour, sugar, slightly beaten egg, baking powder, salt and diced butter. Knead the dough. Divide into 2 unequal parts, and put into the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Apples to clear and RUB on a grater, add the starch, then cheese, sugar (amount to taste), lemon juice, vanilla sugar and zest.

Stir.

In the form put the dough, to form ledges.

On the dough put the cheese mass.

Then cover with the remaining batter, you want to roll and move on the rolling pin. Lubricate slightly beaten egg yolk. I sprinkled more almond shavings.

Bake at 200 deg. about 40-50 minutes. But you better be guided by your oven.

Bake better in split form for ease when removing the cake, because it turns out very tender. My form is 22x22 cm Can be sprinkled with powdered sugar as desired.
