Description
A very interesting jam out of oranges. In 80-90's were sold in stores. Taste is sweet and bitter. I will say this - semi candied fruits - floor jam. Now I do not see on sale, I decided to try to do it myself. Very tasty with ice cream. In childhood the only way to eat ice cream for 48 cents.

Cooking
Mandarins need to buy a small size and thin skin. Dense. A little ripe. Our best fit from the Caucasus. (mandarins!) Tangerines thoroughly rinsed and torn off the stalk.
Cut mandarins in half across the cloves.
Place in a bowl, (I Think it is best in plastic. In alouminiou the dishes are not worth it. Mandarins still citrus. Sour). Pour 250 gr. sugar, gently stir, cover with a lid or a cloth, towel, someone they like and leave overnight.
In the morning put the saucepan on the fire, pour 200 ml. of water. When the water is boiling - pour 500 g of sugar. Make a syrup. When the sugar is dissolved - gently, without a splash, put into the pot and tangerine formed overnight juice. Bring to a boil, reduce fire and cook with small fire for about 2 hours. Depends on the juiciness of mandarins. Pereiodicheski stir.
Passed 1 hour. You can now experiment. Try the resulting syrup (very hot, carefully). Continue at Your discretion. Add cinnamon, cloves, lemon juice, remaining sugar. Do not forget to stir.
That's all. It took 2 hours. Check for readiness. Drip the syrup from a spoon into cold water or on a plate. Should get a round droplet which will not spread. If not cook a little more.
Put in a jar. Allow to cool and refrigerate. I think not for long. :) Again, but it's actually really Very tasty with ice cream.
