Cheese medallions
Simple in execution, the air-like medallions. Can be used as a base for canapés for the festive table or eat with pleasure with a morning Christmas coffee.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    0.5 pack

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Dutch cheese

    100 g

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

Cooking

Cheese grate on a fine grater.

Butter, room temperature, sour cream, yeast and salt stir.

Add cheese.

Add flour, knead the dough.

Roll out the dough and fold. Roll out again and fold. Leave on the table for 30-40 minutes.

After 40 minutes the dough again roll out. The thickness of the dough can vary depending on your goals. If you want a base for canapés, then roll out thinner if just for coffee, then about 2-3 cm thicker

A glass cut out circles.

Spread on a baking sheet, covered with baking paper and grease lightly beaten egg. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes until Golden brown.
