Description
I always thought that hummus is the only Russian dish. But on the Internet I came across an interesting recipe, and since there is no such, we want to share. It turns out very tasty porridge with a creamy taste and soft, creamy texture. All fans of peas I highly recommend to try!!!

Cooking
Yellow split peas Idaho from Mistral a good wash.
In a saucepan put 1 tablespoon of butter.
Quickly fry the finely chopped bacon or other smoked meat (I got sausage).
Cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently 1-1.5 hours.
Until cooked porridge, prepare the dressing. Finely chop the onion, carrot grate on a coarse grater. Fry in vegetable oil until tender.
To the vegetables add the chopped smoked sausage or meat. Fry for another 1-2 minutes.
The peas have started to be soft after boiling, add spices: salt, sugar, black pepper and dried mint (according to the recipe fresh mint, but I didn't have it)
Porirua mess with a blender. Remove from the heat.
Continuing to whisk, gently introduce the egg yolks (I used 2 small). The texture of the porridge becomes smooth and creamy.
A few more minutes continue to interfere with porridge with a spoon, so the egg doesn't curdle. The finished pudding served with sausage-vegetable fried and sprinkled with green onions.
