French cheese balls
These small, French delicious balls of dough made Shu (option choux pastry), traditionally dressed with cheddar cheese, which gives them sharpness and poignancy, try it, it's delicious! Especially delicious with hot coffee.

Ingredients

  • Water

    300 ml

  • Butter

    60 g

  • Flour

    130 g

  • Yolk egg

    2 piece

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Cheese

    130 g

  • Baking powder

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

  • Parmesan

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Prepare the foods.

Place the water and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Remove from heat and add the flour. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and shiny, and the walls of the pan clean. Allow to cool slightly.

Mix the eggs and yolks.

Add them to the flour mixture in small portions.

Stir in grated on a fine grater cheese, salt, pepper.

Roll into small balls with a diameter of about 2 cm, no more!!! Fry on pre-heated until 190% of sunflower oil until Golden brown. Drain on paper towels. The first batch be sure to check, break one bead, if the inside wasn't cooked, reduce heat and cook until done.

Serve warm, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese, for a special spice in the batter you can add chopped anchovies.
