Christmas salad with celery root
A delicious salad! In our family favorite! For any occasion there is no doubt what salad to do. "Celery is a must, and what else she wants". The number of ingredients I got for a decent bowl, so that the sample safely reduce twice. But, how much of this salad I did, the constant question: "why so little?"

Ingredients

  • Celery root

  • Mushrooms

    500 g

  • Chicken breast

    1 piece

  • Cheese

    200 g

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Mayonnaise

  • Salt

    1 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Celery root peel and grate on a grater for Korean carrot. I have grated root is usually 700 grams. Add the tablespoon of salt and pour boiling water. Leave for 20-30 minutes, then drain the water and carefully squeeze out the celery.

Chicken breast, pre-boiled (I like to wrap in foil and bake in the oven, but it does not matter). The cooled breast to disassemble the arms on a thin fiber (can be cut into thin strips, but dismantled for fiber - they taste - tested).

Mushrooms cut small and fry until the liquid is evaporated. Cool.

Bell pepper cut into half rings.

Small onion (50 grams) cut into thin half-rings. Better to take a red onion, but I was not.

Any hard cheese to grate on a grater for Korean carrot.

Now we have to mix all the cooled ingredients and mayonnaise to dry. Salad mixes are pretty hard, and mayonnaise takes a decent amount of. But we're not every day! Forgot to say, the salad should marinate for at least an hour. And in the morning it will only taste better.
