Another recipe from my collection of borscht. This recipe many years ago shared with me the patient, knowing about my hobby. Grandpa older, but loved to cook! He was born in the Bryansk region, Pogar. Most likely, he is no longer alive, but in my mind he was.

Cooking
Cook the meat with 2 peeled onions and 1 tiny carrot. Periodically remove the foam. When the broth is almost ready, put the halves cut beets and cook until it turns white. Before it is done beets in a pan put 2-3 potatoes whole.
As the vegetables are tender remove them with a slotted spoon from the broth. Onions, carrots, potatoes, beets. Everything on the plate warming up with a fork.
Prepare fried. Its composition: onions, carrots saute in a mixture of vegetable oil and butter, then add the tomato.
In stock ready to put the cabbage cut into strips. Cook until soft.
Cabbage cooked? Put in a pot of mashed with a fork boiled vegetables.
After fried, put in soup seasoning, spices according to your taste, salt. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Allow to infuse for about 30 minutes.
