Meat
The recipe is taken again from the booklet "Recipes for an encore", the author Tatyana Melnikova. Why so called I do not know. Dish with an unusual combination but very tasty, flavorful and hearty.

Ingredients

  • Pork

    800 g

  • Pearl barley

    2 cup

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    2 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    2 Tbsp

  • Spices

  • Salt

  • Pineapple

    1 can

  • Garlic

    1 piece

  • Bay leaf

  • Butter

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Cut the meat into cubes

1 onion finely chopped

In the pan lay down the meat, chopped onion, add soy sauce, vinegar, spices, cut the slices of pineapple. Mix well. Marinate for 2 hours. Rinse the pearl barley and cover with water for 2 hours. Then cook until soft.

The second onion finely chopped, carrots grate on a coarse grater and all this fry in small amount of vegetable oil.

Add the roasted vegetables tomato paste, mix well and turn off the heat.

In boiled until soft pearl barley, add the roast and mix well.

In pots spread marinated meat, Bay leaf, 1 garlic zubochka

On meat porridge in each Cup pour in 3-4 tbsp of water (or broth) and put on top of a small piece of butter.

Close the pot lids and put in cold oven. Select the temperature to 180 degrees and cook for 1.5 hours.
