Spicy vegetable pickle
Vegetable soup with spicy cucumber and chili peppers, with pearl barley, without pereyarki vegetables. As you know that now there is a POST and we need to eat lean food. Love the first dish, and the stewed vegetables-especially!!!

Ingredients

  • Pearl barley

    0.25 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Potatoes

    1 piece

  • Brine

    1 cup

  • Pickled cucumber

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Chili

    1 piece

  • Dill

    1 tsp

  • Bay leaf

    2 piece

  • Allspice

    3 piece

  • Black pepper

    5 piece

  • Sunflower oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

Cooking

Barley it is better to soak for 2 hours, it cooked faster. Put the saucepan on the fire with water 1.5 l together with the washed and soaked barley. Bring to the boil and cook for 30 minutes.

Put the grated carrots and chopped onion. Then after 5 minutes-the potatoes and cook them until tender.

Sharp grate the cucumber on a grater and place it in the soup. Cook 5 minutes and pour into the pan a glass of brine from cucumbers.

Now add salt to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Spices for soup. Chilies I have growing in a pot on the window all year round. You can add and bought on the market or in the shop is a good choice.

Chilli and garlic chopped finely. Sent all the spices in the soup and added sunflower oil.

Another 3-5 minutes and the soup is ready.
