Soup with couscous and smoked brisket
Carrot soup with couscous and smoked bacon, with garlic-smoked flavor, warming and hearty!

Ingredients

  • Water

    700 ml

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Couscous

    4 Tbsp

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Brisket

    100 g

  • Allspice

    2 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Salt

  • Greens

Carrots cut into large cubes, put in pan, cover with water and put on fire.

I have a home smoked brisket, which is cut into thin slices (you can of course buy ready-made bacon or already pre-sliced bacon).

The carrots to a boil, add the grated garlic and pepper. Cook on low heat under a lid until soft carrots.

While cooking the carrots - well fried bacon (the oil is not needed, grease it enough, and so).

Remove the bacon, grease to fry the coarsely cut onions.

To ready carrot to put bacon, onion and couscous. Salt to taste, cover and leave for 5 minutes.

When serving sprinkle with herbs, serve the soup hot.
