My favorite cereal in our family
Oatmeal know how to cook everything. But the contest called "the story about the porridge." Wanted to share with you a case from my childhood of my son.

Put salt and sugar. Porridge cooked on slow fire 5-7 minutes. At the end added to the porridge a pinch of turmeric and a piece of butter. All the cooking of cereals together with the grinding of cereals spent 20 minutes. The oatmeal is a medium consistency, i.e. sparse and non-liquid. This thick porridge like all of my family. Little boy cooked the porridge considerably thinner and without the addition of turmeric. At that time I was not familiar. Add turmeric and semolina. Oatmeal son fed with 1.5 months, because there were problems with the breast milk. Poured the cereal for a while with water and left to stand. Then the flakes are rubbed through a sieve and add milk. Cooked oatmeal and fed from a bottle.

Cooked porridge to eat immediately, don't wait till it cools down and thickens. The proportions for porridge can be changed depending on desired density. Sugar in porridge not much treasure to add to the bowl of porridge honey or jam.
