Soup from green peas and ham
The recipe for "Delicious and easy" were given two options - as a soup and that's it. My husband does not like cream soups, so stopped at second. I usually add peas to vegetable soups just a little for a change, and in this recipe the peas - one of the main components. My husband really liked it. It's old, easy, but satisfying.

Ingredients

  • Green peas

    450 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Broth

    600 ml

  • Water

    400 ml

  • Ham

    150 g

  • Greens

Cooking

Cook the soup, I had chicken, cooked in advance

Chop the onion small and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil directly in the pan in which you cook the soup. Add diced ham and fry together with onion.

In a saucepan with lightly fried ham, add the peas and mix everything together, make diatomite a few minutes.

Add the broth and water (only broth). Bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt, pepper and the spices that love. Boil for another few minutes and the soup is ready.

The soup looks quite thick due to the large number of peas. Serve with herbs and fried toast. Bon appetit!
