Lentil soup with leeks, young carrots and bell peppers
This soup I once again found in the Israeli culinary magazine. He bribed me with its simplicity and speed to prepare. And he's a very bright, Sunny and very suitable during Lent.

Ingredients

  • Carrots

    5 piece

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Leeks

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Water

    1 l

  • Coriander

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Cumin

    0.5 tsp

  • Paprika sweet

    0.5 tsp

  • Turmeric

    0.5 tsp

  • Spices

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

  • Cilantro

  • Crackers

Here are the products we need. Oops, forgot about turmeric.

Leek small to cut, carrots cut into thin strips, bell pepper – small cubes.

In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat olive oil and lightly fry the onions.

Add the carrots

And bell pepper, simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 min.

Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic

The lentils and rinse well with water.

Add the garlic to the pan, mix well for 1 minute (at this point it feels like this wonderful smell of garlic).

Add the lentils and all the spices, everything very well mixed

Pour water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the lentils are tender, 10 min.

The pan remove from heat and blend with a blender, then return the pan to the heat and bring to a boil. All our gorgeous Sunny soup is ready.
