Description

A variation on the theme of semolina
This variation invented by me for my eldest granddaughter who loves pancakes with condensed milk, pasta, soy sauce, milk, cereal and absolutely loves vegetables, fruits and berries. It may be useful to someone. Although I and my grandfather ate this "mess" with pleasure. Soft pieces with a refreshing sweet-sour taste.

Ingredients

  • Semolina

    100 g

  • Red currants

    300 g

  • Brown sugar

    0.75 cup

  • Water

    500 ml

Cooking

step-0
Set of products for fruit cereal. I used red currants, but you can take cranberries. raspberries, cranberries, black currants to your taste.
step-1
Boil water. Add frozen currants. Wait 1 minute and discard the berries in a sieve.
step-2
Wipe the berries with a potato masher through a sieve into a separate bowl.
step-3
Send the cake back into the pan with water. Add sugar, bring to boil and drain the sweet broth through a sieve into another saucepan.
step-4
Again bring to boil and thin stream, stirring, pour the semolina.
step-5
Cook for 10 minutes until thick, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, pour the mashed berry mass, stir. Pour the porridge over the cups, which are pre-rinsed with cold water. Remove until cool.
step-6
You can just pour cereal with the form of a thin layer (~2 cm). After cooling cut into squares.
step-7
Cold cereal spread from the molds. Decorate as desired. I added gummy berries. Granddaughter ate berries cereal, drinking your favorite warm milk. I think that would be delicious with a mound of whipped cream.
