Cold appetizer of herring

Ingredients

  • Herring

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Bun

    1 piece

  • Walnuts

    1 handful

  • Vegetable oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Spices

  • Milk

Much has been written about the mincemeat... will Hasten to contribute! I offer you the option of cold meals related to Jewish food. Proceed, and the first thing clean the herring from the skin, viscera, and major bones.

Then soak it in cold milk for a period while we prepare the remaining ingredients. You can skip this step in case if the herring is tender and not too salty.

Namely: soak in warm milk bun, peel the nuts, cut into large chunks the onion and the Apple (peeled). The process is simple, to make it all grind in a meat grinder! So, let's list again: herring (already soaked in milk), apples, onions, bun (pressed) and nuts.

Then proceed with the filling of the mincemeat. We need 1-1,5 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp of sugar (more or less depending on what You used apples) and 3-4 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Suggest to fill "the eye" and exclusively to your taste, because it is an individual matter!
