Cooking
Poppy pour boiling water and set aside aside.
Mix the sifted flour with the sugar (I use Demerara sugar TM Mistral), salt and yeast. Pour the milk and water at room temperature, add the vegetable oil. Knead the dough.
The dough should be soft, tender, uncool. Put the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, tighten with cling film and leave in a warm place to approach for 40-45 minutes.
While the dough rises, prepare the filling. From poppy to drain the water, throwing it on the sieve. Grind using a blender. (better to do it in high capacity, as Mac flies in different directions)
And only now add the poppy sugar. I use Demerara sugar TM Mistral.
Mix the mass until smooth.
With a pre-defrosted cherries, drain the juice, gently blot the berries with a paper towel, pour the starch. (corn or potato - principle does not matter)
Put the dough on a work surface sprinkled with flour, punch down, roll into a rectangle approximately 25 to 35 cm Cut lengthwise into three equal strips.
In the center of each strip lengthwise to spread makove - sugar mass.
Spread evenly on top of cherries.
Carefully seal the edges.
The first "sausage" twist spiral (seam side down) and put it in the center of the form for baking. The form is pre-lubricated with vegetable oil. The size of my form 25 cm in diameter and 4 cm in height. Second, "sausage" wrap around first.
Third, "sausage" also put in a form. Cover the form with cake tea towel and leave in a warm place for 20-25 minutes.
Grease the pie with milk. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. (optional)
Bake pie in preheated to 180° oven for 35-40 minutes. (consider the features of your equipment!!!) If the top of the cake will be very brown, cover pie with foil for 10-15 minutes before finishing baking.
To remove the cake from the mold and put on the grill. To cool down a bit. Before serving you can sprinkle it with icing sugar. You're done!
