Doughnuts
Bunuelos. I sat recently on the donuts:) These "live" in Spain and South America. Get bouncy balls with a crunchy crispy crust. They say that they are served at Christmas.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Milk

    3 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    2 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

    0.25 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

It's simple. Egg shaken with milk, like scrambled eggs.

Sift in a Cup of flour, add salt, sugar and baking powder.

Knead the dough. Cover with a cloth and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then roll small balls. I got about 30 pieces. Bunuelos fry in hot vegetable oil. Oil should be enough to banuelos have swum in it.

Ready bunuelos served with honey or fruit syrup. You can just sprinkle with powdered sugar. :-)
