Cooking
To prepare the candied sweet head (casavie) varieties of pumpkin.
Chop the pumpkin into pieces.
Boil the syrup 200 ml of water and 400 g of sugar.
In syrup, omit the pumpkin and lemon (orange) that you can replace 3 g of citric acid. Boil the pumpkin to simmer until soft. Cooking should be about 10 minutes, in two parts, as the syrup turns a little.
Cooked pumpkin put on the baking paper.
Dry semi-finished candied fruits about an hour in a preheated 130 C oven.
Ready candied cool and sprinkle with cinnamon or powdered sugar.
