Cabbage salad with chicken and mango
For a basis I took a spicy Vietnamese salad Goi Ga Bap Cai and added a fruity touch of mango! Although it is possible to use peaches! From the series: surprise guests!

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast

    1 piece

  • Cabbage

    500 g

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Mango

    1 piece

  • Lime

    1 piece

  • Cilantro

  • Vinegar

    4 Tbsp

  • Sauce

    1 tsp

  • Peppers red hot chilli

  • Vegetable oil

    50 g

  • Spices

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Cashews

To prepare the cabbage, mango, carrot and lime (or lemon) and the greens.

Shred cabbage thin, narrow strips, cover with cold water, which added two tbsp of rice vinegar and a tbsp sugar. Stir well and put in the freezer for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator.

As homogeneous, narrow long strips, chop the remaining ingredients. For the sauce: very finely chop the onion, add salt, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, fish or soy sauce (optional), squeeze some lime juice and pepper and stir well.

Cabbage remove from the freezer and pour the marinade. Gently mix all ingredients. Sauce is better to fill right before serving! You can add chopped cashew nuts (pre-dried in a dry frying pan). Serve with sweet chili sauce.
