Caramel poppy seed muffins
Delicious, very light caramel cupcakes with poppy seeds and a delicate aroma of vanilla covered in Fudge.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    120 g

  • Sugar

    11 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Milk

    150 ml

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Cream

    100 g

  • Mac

    20 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

Prepare the caramel: melt in a pan or metal Cup(but not enameled)3 tbsp. sugar until light Golden brown, stirring constantly.

Pour in hot milk, dissolve in it a caramelized sugar. The smell and color of the fluid is supposed to be similar to condensed milk.

Pour the rinsed poppy seeds, stir and allow to cool.

In the bowl for whipping to put all products - flour, baking powder, vanilla, 3 tbsp sugar, eggs, softened butter and milk-caramel-poppy mixture. Beat with a mixer for 3-4 minutes at high speed.

Put the dough in the greased muffins cups 2/3 of the height.

Put in the preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes (cooking time depends on size of molds - the more forms, the longer the baking time). The oven door 20 minutes to open. After 20 minutes, check the readiness of the cupcakes with a wooden splinter or toothpick, if the splinter is dry, then the cupcakes can be removed, and if wet, leave for another 5 minutes.

The finished muffins to cool in the form, then arrange on a platter.

While cupcakes cool, prepare the Fudge: mix the cream and 5 tbsp of sugar, bring to a boil and cook for 7-10 minutes.
