Tomato soup with chickpeas, lentils and pumpkin

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Chickpeas

    1 can

  • Pumpkin

    300 g

  • Broth

    3 l

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Ginger

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    400 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • The mixture of peppers

  • Zira

    1 tsp

  • Cilantro

    0.5 coup

Cooking

Salted broth, bring to a boil, add lentils, cook for 10 minutes.

Onions finely chop, carrots to RUB on a large grater, grind the ginger, pumpkin peel, cut into cubes (I had frozen). Prepared vegetables fried in vegetable oil TM "generous gift" for 5-7 minutes.

Vegetables season with salt, pepper, add cumin and fry for another 1-2 minutes.

Fried vegetables add to the soup, cook for 2-3 minutes.

From canned chickpeas drain liquid, add to the soup.

Add tomatoes in juice (pre-blend)...

... and finely chopped cilantro. Bring to boil, cook for another 5 minutes.
