Potato salad with capers
Potato salad is a widespread dish in Austria and Germany, its varieties there is a great variety. So I have to some extent run the risk of exposing this recipe :). This version of the salad is tender and spicy at the same time, and in addition it includes capers, which not only adds piquancy. Capers is unique, since ancient times used in medicine for the treatment of allergies, thyroid disease, hypertension, in addition, they have potent anticarcinogenic properties. Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    0.5 kg

  • Yogurt

    1 Tbsp

  • Mayonnaise

    1 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    1.5 tsp

  • Mustard

    0.5 tsp

  • Horseradish

    1.5 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Red onion

    1 Tbsp

  • Parsley

    20 g

  • Capers

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

Here are our ingredients. Peel the potatoes, boil in salted water until tender but do not overcook. Leave to cool.

Parsley and red onion chopped.

Make a dressing: mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, horseradish, red onion, and parsley. Chop and add the garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. You need to consider that capers are very salty, so it is important not to overdo the dressing.

The cooled potatoes cut into large chunks.

Potatoes combine with dressing, add the capers. All mix gently, to avoid collapse of the potatoes. Put in refrigerator for 1 hour.
