Spicy bulgur in Oriental style
Bulgur wheat is a wonderful cereal. It is not necessary to rinse, it is prepared quickly and is not sticky. Offer to cook the bulgur with chicken, dried apricots and pistachios.

Ingredients

  • Bulgur

    1 cup

  • Water

    2 cup

  • Chicken fillet

    300 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Pistachios

    2 handful

  • Dried apricots

    2 handful

  • Turmeric

    2 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    0.25 tsp

  • Coriander

    1 tsp

Cooking

The chicken is cut into quite small pieces. Chop the pistachios and dried apricots.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in vegetable oil.

Add turmeric, coriander, pepper and cinnamon, and the chicken, apricots and pistachios. Fry a couple of minutes. The pistachios I use is salty, so no additional doselevel. You adjust the amount of salt according to your taste.

Pour the bulgur from the Mistral, stir and fry for 2 minutes.

Put into a form, greased, pour hot water. Cereals and water I measured out a glass of 200 ml. Salt and put in the oven, heated to 180 degrees. The first 15 minutes cover with foil, then remove it and bake another 10-15 minutes.
