Cottage cheese casserole
A delicious cheese casserole, but not simple, and fragrant with a layer of orange cream. A wonderful combination of cottage cheese and orange will not leave anyone indifferent. Have to taste and children and adults. And not only for lovers of cheese... I Checked several times!

Ingredients

The cream is better to prepare in advance. With the help of a grater to remove the zest from the orange.

Squeeze the juice from the orange. You should get 90-100 ml.

Pour the juice into a small pan, add sugar and zest and heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Put the saucepan with the syrup into another pot of larger size, half filled with water. (in a water bath) By one add the eggs, each time stirring well. Boil the mixture until lightly thickened, stirring constantly with a whisk. (I have this process took 7 minutes)

Remove the pan from the heat and add the butter. Mix well. Remove and cool the resulting orange cream in the fridge for 1-2 hours. (I usually prepare the cream in the evening and leave it in the fridge overnight)

Curd. Egg whites to separate from yolks and whisk in a solid foam.

Mix cottage cheese with egg yolks, sugar, vanilla and semolina.

The form for baking (I have oval 22*16 volume 1200 ml) is well greased with butter and sprinkle with semolina.

Divide the cheese mass into two parts. One part is to introduce a third protein.

In the center put an orange filling. (leave 3-4 tablespoons for greasing the finished casserole)

Bake in preheated oven to 190* 40-45 minutes.

Take the casserole from the oven and immediately coat the top of the pending orange cream. Cool 20-25 minutes. Can be fed.
