Herring in white marinade
In this marinade can do any kind of fish but preferably small. It swells and is very soft and delicious.

Ingredients

  • Herring

    1 kg

  • Vinegar

    1 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

    7 piece

  • Bay leaf

    4 piece

Herring clear, remove head and viscera. Roll in flour with salt added. Fry

Cook the marinade. Water, vinegar, and seasonings (Bay leaf, pepper, onion, carrot), salt and sugar - mix it all together. Cooked until transparent onions on low heat under the lid. This marinade (cold) pour fried fish and let it brew for... a day... two. I have so long it not worth it - eaten up quickly.
