Carrot soup with lentils
Delicious soup, cooked very quickly, excellent for diet.

Ingredients

  • Mint

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    2 cup

  • Basil

    1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Red onion

    0.5 piece

  • Nutmeg

    0.25 tsp

  • Carrots

    300 g

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Onions and garlic peel and chop, fry in vegetable oil with herbs and spices lightly until the aroma of garlic and spices. The original recipe used thyme and fresh Basil, I substituted fresh Basil for dried, and used mint.

Then add the sliced carrots, add water and cook until tender carrots.

Now add the lentils, season with salt and pepper to taste.

And cook until the lentils are tender.

Then the soup in a blender, add if necessary boiled water to the desired consistency, I like thicker))), warm on the stove for 1 more minute and serve immediately!
