Sweet and sour Chinese sauce
Chinese food lovers, of course, know pork in sweet and sour sauce. However on the website I found the recipe for this sauce, so I decided to share. We pour this sauce not only pork, but chicken, and burgers.


  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Ginger

    1 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    2 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Ketchup

    2 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Juice

    125 ml

  • Starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Water

    2 Tbsp


Consistently fry in vegetable oil finely chopped onion, garlic and ginger root (a piece 5-7 cm). Add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, ketchup and fruit juice. I used orange juice or Apple juice. It is important that it was sour. Stir well and allow to simmer. Stir starch in water and pour in a thin stream to the sauce. Stir well, wait until the sauce thickens and off. Bon appetit!
