Honey-orange cake with poppy seeds
Tasty, a bit, glazed with marzipan icing cupcake, with a fragrance of honey and orange.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    275 g

  • Butter

    170 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Mac

    3 Tbsp

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Glaze

    1 piece

Cooking

Flour to combine with poppy seeds and baking powder.

Melt the butter, combine with sugar, honey, eggs and whisk.

Grate the orange zest on a medium grater.

From the orange and squeeze the juice, combine it with water to a total volume of 200ml (I got the juice 160ml + 40ml water).

Pour the juice into egg-butter mixture and whisk until smooth.

To connect the mass of the dry components, add the zest and mix well.

Pour the batter into the molds and bake in a preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes at 180gr., readiness check wooden skewer.

The finished cake to cool, remove from the form and pour glaze.
