Description

Cabbage, stewed with lentils and sausages
Simple and hearty dish. If we exclude the sausage, it will be a great option for a meatless meal.

Ingredients

  • Spices

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Sausages

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Tomato

    1 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Cabbage

    500 g

  • Greens

    1 coup

  • Water

Cooking

Onion cut into small cubes and fry in hot vegetable oil.

Carrots grate on a coarse grater and add to the onions.

Tomato cut into cubes and add to vegetables.

To add to passerovannym vegetables 1 tbsp tomato paste and fry, stirring occasionally. While we prepare the vegetables, shred the cabbage.

Add the cabbage, stir and simmer for 10-15 minutes. If the vegetables are dry, add a little water, 1/4 to 1/2 Cup.

Lentils, I used green canadian from "Mistral". Is prepared quickly and requires no soaking, is a plus!

To prepare the salt, pepper, herbs (I used dry). You can use spices to taste, I added flax seeds, dry green chutney and some red pepper. Sausages cut into slices.

Add the Kale to the lentils and sausages, condiments and spices, mix well. Bake in a preheated 140 C oven for 10-15 minutes.
