Spanish buns with chocolate pudding
In this recipe I offer to cook the famous Spanish rolls called "Ensaimadas", which are prepared in the form of a spiral. Rolls contain a filling inside, this recipe is chocolate pudding.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    2.5 cup

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Milk

    120 ml

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Cocoa powder

    1 Tbsp

  • Corn flour

    1 Tbsp

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Powdered sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Sesame

    1 tsp

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Butter

    30 g

Prepare a yeast dough. In warm milk dissolve the yeast and honey. Leave for 10 minutes.

Add in the milk egg and stir.

Add half of flour and salt. Stir.

Add olive oil, the remaining flour and knead the dough. Leave the dough for 1-2 hours in a warm room.

For the chocolate pudding and take the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, flour and milk. Mix dry ingredients first, and then dissolve them in milk.

On slow fire cook a thick chocolate pudding. Cool.

Divide the dough into 10 pieces. Each part roll into a long strip. Sprinkle with melted butter. On the edge of the spread out chocolate pudding. Twist roll, then wrap the spiral.

The buns spread out on the baking sheet. To grease with a yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the buns for about 45 minutes at 200 degrees. Warm rolls sprinkled with powdered sugar and serve with tea. Bon appetit!
