My little sister is mixed girls from Turkmenistan, so they shared with us this wonderful, but simple recipe Turkmen meat pie (cake). Come on in, help yourself!!!

Ingredients

  • Pork

    300 g

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Flour

    3 cup

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Salt

  • Allspice

Slice (OPTIONAL) finely the meat and onions. Stir, add salt and pepper to taste. Can be a little bit of cumin to add!

Dough: sift flour, add 2st. L. sour cream (or yogurt), warm water, salt and knead the dough! Give a little stand, 7-10min.

I'm one tart case in the oven, used pizza pan. We divide our dough into 4 parts. One part of the roll out thin (5-7mm), place on a baking tray, grease with vegetable oil, spread the stuffing.

Roll out the 2nd part of the test, also thinly. Cover the first layer and simiplified! Make 2-3 cuts at the top, put in a preheated 180 gr. the oven for 30min. (Someone will need less time, others more).

If doing in the skillet with the dough, do the same except the incisions. Spread in a greased pan, put in the preheated oven, make a medium heat, cover. As soon as the bottom will turn red, turn over, cover. If I'm frying that little oil, it can be a little add!
