Chocolate cake with cottage cheese balls and apricots
This recipe I saw on the Internet. Prepared. Very tasty! The dough turns out a bit wet, not dry. Cottage cheese with dried apricots combine well. Very chocolate taste!

Ingredients

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    6 piece

  • Potato starch

    5 Tbsp

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Cocoa powder

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Cheese

    200 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 tsp

  • Dried apricots

    50 g

  • Dark chocolate

    100 g

  • Powdered sugar

    50 g

All that we need.

First make the cheese balls. Cheese, starch, 2 egg yolks and sugar and mix until smooth.

Apricots pre-wash, pour warm water for 10 minutes. Drain the water, dried apricots cut into cubes.

Now make balls. Cottage cheese formed pellet, inside each put the apricots and form balls.

Take a detachable form for baking, the bottom is carpeted with parchment paper. Boca coat with butter and sprinkle with flour.

On the bottom of the form put the cheese balls at a small distance from each other.

Now for the test. The yolks separated from the whites. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar.

Now add the melted (in the microwave or water bath) chocolate.

To the egg-chocolate mass is seeded add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, a pinch of salt, starch. Mix well.

Separately whisk 4 protein with the sugar until stable peaks.

Add the whipped whites to the dough and gently stir until smooth.

Now the same batter, pour on top of cheese balls. Put the cake in a preheated 180 degree oven to bake for 30 minutes (focus on your oven).

While baked cake, prepare two proteins and the remaining powdered sugar fill (whisk to foam). The finished cake remove from the oven and pour the protein fill. Put back in oven for 5 minutes.

Take out the cake from the oven, allow to cool a little. Then remove from the mold.

The finished cake pour over protein chocolate glaze (melt the remaining chocolate). Decorate as desired (I sprinkled the remaining dried apricots).
