Bread pudding with dried fruit
Delicious dessert made of sliced white bread, dried apricots, raisins, milk and cream, complemented by aromatic apricot sauce.

Ingredients

  • Bread

    450 g

  • Raisins

    50 g

  • Dried apricots

    150 g

  • Butter

    30 g

  • Milk

    225 g

  • Cream

    225 g

  • Brown sugar

    175 g

  • Vanilla essence

    0.75 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Lemon juice

    1 tsp

  • Water

    350 ml

  • Powdered sugar

    20 g

Dried apricots cover with water and leave for 1 hour.

Then 1/3 of dried apricots cut into small cubes.

Bread cut into slices, 1 cm thick and spread with a thin layer of butter.

Cut the crusts and cut the crumb into four parts. Spread the bread slices oiled side up in a greased baking dish (18 X 18 cm, better all-in-one), sprinkling each layer with diced dried apricots and raisins.

Combine milk, cream and 100 g of sugar and bring to a boil.
