Fish & chips with garlic sauce
The dish can be prepared from any fish, preferably red. Original garlic sauce gives the dish a savory, slightly spicy and at the same time delicate taste.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    4 piece

  • Cream

    200 ml

  • Fish

    300 g

  • Flour

    1 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    5 tooth

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Bay leaf

Carrots grate on a coarse grater, potatoes cut into slices, onion finely cut.

In a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil saute onion for 5-7 minutes. Add carrots and simmer on low heat for the same amount.

Put potatoes in a greased form. Put on top of the steaks of fish that you need to pre-salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice and, if desired, RUB it with spices for fish. Add the Bay leaf (3-4, optional). Pour a small amount of vegetable oil. Put the onions and carrots.

In a pan melt the butter, put cut into 2-3 pieces garlic on low heat lightly fry. Lay out the garlic.

In butter add flour, fry it to a light cream color.

Slowly pour the cream, intensively stirring with a whisk. When the sauce starts to thicken, add salt and pepper. The sauce should boil, but not boil!

The fish sauce. Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 180 degrees.
