1. In water stir sugar and yeast, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 7 minutes.
2. The yeast will swell, and on the surface will appear bubbles.
3. In a bowl sift the flour, add the salt, make a well in the middle and pour in the yeast liquid and olive oil. Stir with a wooden spoon, place on a floured surface and knead elastic dough (knead about 7-8 minutes). Return to a clean bowl and cover with oiled wrap and a towel.
4. Withstand the dough in a warm place for 40 minutes. It should increase twice. Punch down the dough and divide into two parts. For this recipe we will only need half of the dough. The second half can be put into the refrigerator for the next day or to cook a pizza in the same day. If you have a large family, increase the filling by half and make two servings of this bread.
5. Why I make a double batch of dough – it makes no sense to open the package of yeast and divide it. Open the yeast lose their quality.
