Pecan pie
If You like nuts, then this cake is for You! Walnuts with delicate toppings on thin, crispy batter! Recipe from Michelle.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Butter

    170 g

  • Water

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Sugar

    0.66 cup

  • Vanilla

    1 tsp

  • Walnuts

    1.5 cup

Cooking

Mix the flour with the salt.

Using two knives (or in a blender) to chop the flour with butter until it forms fine crumbs.

Gradually pour in the water. Add 1 tbsp until the dough until it only slightly to keep the shape. Gather it into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour.

Chilled dough roll out on floured surface into a disk and put it on the bottom of the form. Refrigerate for another 20 min.

With a whisk beat eggs slightly, stir in sugar and salt.

Pour melted butter and add vanilla, stir and add crushed nuts.

Preheat the oven to 180*C. Pour the filling into the chilled bottom shape, put whole nuts in the desired order and bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 170*C and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until crust are brown.
