Lemon pads
Very tasty and easy to prepare lemon pads - the perfect complement to tea drinking.

Ingredients

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

  • Powdered sugar

  • Sour cream

    1 Tbsp

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

Cooking

Mix the flour, the baking powder and the zest of half a lemon.

Melt the butter, cool, add the egg and sour cream.

Mix well.

Add to the flour with the zest, stir, periodically pouring the lemon juice from half lemon.

Knead the dough, wrap in clingfilm and put into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Then roll the dough to a thickness of 1 cm.

Cut into squares 2x2 cm

Fry in a large amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan on both sides.

Pads ready to put on napkins to remove excess oil.

Pads cool, fold in a plastic bag, add the powdered sugar and mix to the powdered sugar evenly to cover all pads.
