Basque cake with custard and prunes
Offer their variation of the popular Basque cake, with a delicate and fragrant dough and custard. I really hope that it will satisfy all the cooks, although addressed to Natasha (Hiroko).

Ingredients

  • Milk

    300 ml

  • Yolk egg

    3 piece

  • Brown sugar

    105 g

  • Powdered sugar

    30 g

  • Flour

    180 g

  • Butter

    65 g

  • Prunes

    200 g

  • Vanilla

    1.5 g

  • Rum

    1 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

Cook products to the test.

Mix the butter with the sugar, add the egg, rum, vanilla. Add the flour, knead the dough. Remove the dough in the fridge.

Mix the egg yolks with the icing sugar, vanilla and flour. The milk mixed with sugar and boil. Hot milk, stirring, pour in a mixture of egg yolks and flour. Stir.

Pour the mixture into the pot in which you boiled the milk and cook until thick.

The dough, remove from refrigerator. Forms sprinkle with flour. Divide the dough for each shape into two parts-bigger and smaller. A large part of the roll out and put into a form, forming the sides. Fill with prunes and cream.

Roll out the second layer and make the lid. Bake for 20 minutes at 190 degrees.
