Creamy poppy seed cake
Offer to cook a very gentle, creamy pie with poppy seeds and a light lemon note. Saw it recently on TV... and some changed to your taste. Baking is just amazing. Try it!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Butter

    125 g

  • Chicken egg

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Mac

  • Cheese curd

    360 g

  • Cream

    80 ml

  • Sugar

    150 g

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Starch

    2 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Water

  • Sour cream

    300 g

  • Starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

For the dough, combine the soft butter with egg and sugar.

Gradually adding flour, knead a soft dough. The finished dough is distributed on the form (I shape diameter 24 cm), forming high sides. Remove the form with the dough in the fridge.

For the filling, pour the poppy seeds with water to cover it completely. Bring to a boil, turn off and leave for some time for swelling. Then the water is drained, add the poppy milk, heated on a small fire and cook until until the Mac will not absorb all the milk. Let cool for a Mac.

Separately, combine cream cheese, sugar, cream, starch, vanilla sugar and egg.

Add the cooled poppy seeds and stir. The filling is very liquid - you shouldn't be afraid. Pour the filling into the chilled dough and place into a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes (the filling should thicken).

For the preparation of potting mix sour cream, sugar, starch. Remove the zest from half the lemon, squeeze the juice and add to filling, mix well.

Almost ready to pour the pie filling and leave in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
