Roast beef with beetroot
My husband does not like beets, but this dish liked it very much. And he was surprised that the beef turned out so soft! And wine while cooking it smelled very tempting. I made a small portion because I didn't expect it to be so delicious. So feel free to increase the number!

Ingredients

  • Beef

    320 g

  • Beets

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Dry red wine

    80 ml

  • Barberry

    6 piece

  • Sugar

    1 tsp

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Mustard

    0.5 tsp

  • Soy sauce

    1 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Cut the beef cubes with a side of 2.0 cm. peel the beets, also cut into cubes.

Sauté beef in oil over high heat until it will turn brown, add the onion, lightly fry.

In sour cream add the soy sauce and dry mustard. Mix.

Put meat with onions in a baking dish with thick walls (ideally in the cauldron), add the spices, sugar, chopped beets, salt to taste.

Pour in red wine and a half Cup of water, put a dressing of sour cream. You can shuffle. Cover the form with a lid (foil). Cook for 1.5 - 2 hours in the oven at 170°C.
