Chicken gizzards with vegetables in mustard sauce
Bright, tasty and hearty dish. Very flavorful sauce that can be used as a gravy for potatoes or pasta!

Ingredients

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Pepper

    2 piece

  • Chicken stomachs

    500 g

  • Soy sauce

    50 ml

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Water

    200 ml

  • Salt

  • Allspice

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Onions, carrots and peppers cut into cubes.

Bellies washed, cut into 2-3 pieces each, dry and lay out on a hot pan with vegetable oil. Add the vegetables and lightly fry all together.

Add water and

the soy sauce. Simmer the gizzards for 15 minutes under a lid.

Put the mustard, stir. Pepper and salt, if your dish will need.

Simmer for another 10-15 minutes with the lid closed.
