Spicy kimchi in Pyongyang

Ingredients

  • Cabbage Chinese

    1 kg

  • Salt

    4 Tbsp

  • Water

    1.5 l

  • Garlic

    7 tooth

  • Ginger

    10 g

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    6 tsp

  • Paprika sweet

    2 tsp

Cooking

Wash the cabbage, cut the cabbage in half.

To prepare a saturated solution of salt, pour it over the cabbage and leave under cover for 24 hours. If the kitchen is hot, it is better to leave to cool (the fridge or the pantry)

To cook spices, garlic and ginger root to clean.

Garlic and ginger minced (the garlic press, grater), mix with pepper and salt to taste.

Salted cabbage thoroughly washed, let it drain, coat with spices each sheet of head.

Leave the cabbage for pickling for 24 hours at room temperature, then serve.

Cabbage can be cut into small pieces or chop into strips.
