Cooking
Mix all dry ingredients, add the frozen butter and chop it all with a knife to education crumbs. It is more convenient to use the harvester, not a knife. Powdered sugar, I didn't have, so I used sugar. But it is better to put powder because the dough will be softer and tastier.
Then add protein and quickly make dough. Honestly, I had to add some cold water because the dough was dry and didn't want to stick together.
Divide the dough into two parts. From each part to create an open pie shape with a diameter of 26 cm For a closed pie on the shape of the 21 cm you will need about 400 g of the dough. The rest of the dough wrap in foil and remove in the freezer, where it is to be stored.
Divide the desired number into two parts. The bottom layer is rolled to a thickness of 8 mm and put into the form so that the edges of the dough slightly hung from the sides of the form. I have used the split form, but as you know, they are pretty high, so I did a roll test higher.
For the filling I used a mixture of two types of jam - plum and blackcurrant, about 1.5 cups. As the jam tends to leak out of the pies I put to it about three tablespoons of starch.
Spread the filling on the dough.
Then wrap sides of dough to the middle.
The second part of the test roll out into a pancake and put on top of the filling.
Bake the pie in heated to 180 degrees oven for about 50 minutes.
Allow to cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and then cut.
The cake turned out very tasty!
All the family were satisfied.
Especially the youngest part of it.
The next day, the cake promises to be even better, but I don't think that the cake will survive until tomorrow....
