The green bean casserole with crispy onions
Green beans I cook at home frequently, and in any variations. I love the bean casserole with mushrooms and crispy onions.

Ingredients

  • Green beans

    400 g

  • Mushrooms

    200 g

  • Cream

    0.75 cup

  • Broth

    0.5 cup

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Soy sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Bread crumbs

    2 Tbsp

  • Flour

    0.25 cup

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

  • Butter

    3 Tbsp

Cooking

Mushrooms sliced and butter fried for 3-5 minutes. Added finely chopped garlic, for 1 minute to fry.

The mushrooms pour 2 tbsp. of flour, a little fry.

Added cream and stock.

To taste freshly ground black pepper, added soy sauce, Kikkoman. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens, about 4-5 minutes.

Add green beans to the sauce. I had frozen the beans, I'm not defrosting, once added to the sauce if you have fresh then you'll have a little boil in salty water up to 4 minutes. Immediately put in cold water, then drain in a sieve.

Green beans stir with the sauce.

Put in a baking dish. Bake in preheated oven to 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

While the beans baked, I could do the onions. Onion cut into half rings.

In a bowl, mix onions, salt (little), black pepper, wheat flour and bread crumbs. Mix well.

Heat vegetable oil and fry onions in small portions until Golden brown.

Spread onions on paper towel to rid of excess oil.

Casserole remove from the oven and sprinkle with crispy onions, serve immediately.
