Young sweet and sour potatoes with herbs
One of many ways to cook young potatoes. Potatoes stewed with white wine and aromatic herbs, which gives it a special taste and aroma. And with a small addition of honey or maple syrup - and even "easy" sweetness and savory crust.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    500 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Tarragon

  • Marjoram

  • Rosemary

  • Coriander

  • Greens

  • Dry white wine

    150 g

  • Maple syrup

    2 tsp

  • Spices

Cooking

Potatoes, wash, dry.

Whole fry in oil until Golden brown (but not ready).

Add onion, sliced to half-rings, dried herbs and a little wine and simmer on low heat.

As the boiling liquid gradually add the wine, stir; add maple syrup, salt, pepper.

Simmer until cooked potatoes (not for long, because young and small potatoes), sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs and remove from heat.
