Greek Lenten cookies
Turkish delight is a stand-alone dessert. In this recipe this Eastern delicacy acts as toppings!The recipe is from the famous in Greece Argyro Barbarigo!

Ingredients

  • Turkish delight

    10 piece

  • Walnuts

    100 g

  • Vegetable oil

    1 cup

  • Dry white wine

    1 cup

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Vodka

  • Vanilla

  • Soda

    1 tsp

  • Powdered sugar

  • Flour

    5 cup

Cooking

For the filling, use fragrant cubes of Turkish delight ...

For the dough: In a convenient bowl, mix sugar,vegetable oil,raki,wine,vanilla,soda.

Gradually add flour and knead a soft dough.

Divide the dough into balls slightly larger than walnut.

The dough is very plastic and with the help of hands you can give each bulb a pellet form.

On each tortilla put a quarter of Turkish delight and a piece of walnut. Stung the edge and give the liver an elongated shape.

Cookies can be baked for convenience on parchment paper( I have a special Mat that is suitable for the oven).

Bake at 180* approximately 25-30 minutes.
