Pear in chocolate with English cream
A light, refreshing dessert for the contest "Gorenje: Christmas song".

Ingredients

  • Pear

    3 piece

  • Dark chocolate

    300 g

  • Ginger

    30 g

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon

  • Carnation

  • Cinnamon

  • Cream

    200 ml

  • Yolk egg

    4 piece

  • Sugar

    70 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

Peel the pears from the skin, leaving the wand core.

Slice the lemon and ginger into thin slices.

Place pears in a large saucepan. Add honey, lemon, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, sugar, pour water to cover the pears. Bring to boil and cook on low heat for 35-45 minutes, until the pears are soft. Remove from heat, cool pears in syrup.
