Description
Moussaka is a traditional Greek dish consisting of eggplant and lamb. Also prevalent in other Balkan Nations, where the components of the meals can vary and consist of vegetables with ground meat or without meat, baked in the oven. This recipe without the lamb, but no less delicious.

Cooking
Eggplant cut into thin lengthwise wedges, season with salt and let stand 30 minutes. Squeeze the bitter juice.
Lightly fry in vegetable oil.
In the same fat saute the onion until soft.
Next add the rice, part of the tomato and some water. Let the mixture cook, until the rice swelled.
Later in the form on the bottom put the tomato rings.
On tomatoes put half of the fried eggplants.
Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley, put a layer of rice.
On top of the remaining half of the eggplant and lay the slices of tomato.
Pour sauce from milk, eggs and slightly passerovannoy flour. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees. Bon appetit!
